Functional Skills ICT Level 1

UPDATED 20150916 14:28:00

This class is run to support the development of Functional Skills in ICT at 1. Learners can attend this alongside or following another FS English or Maths workshop. This would suite any learner who uses a computer on a daily basis and who wants to update & develop their Entry 3 ICT skills and gain a Functional Skills qualification quite quickly. This is ideal for you if you are at work and want to gain confidence wanting a pre - work or traineeship/apprenticeship programme. The learner's journey will be as follows: an induction and skills review period followed by learning assessed by one or two qualifications. At the end of their learning a learner's progress maybe formally assessed by entry into an Entry 3 or level 1 qualification, depending on their starting point; confidence and progress. Fee is #80, in many instances this course will be free dependent upon an individual's circumstances. You will need to make an appointment to see an Education and Careers Adviser before enrolling on this course. Please email sacc@southend - adult.ac.uk or call 01702 445700 to arrange this.
