Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Thursdays 14:00-20:00 starting 17th September 2015 t.b.c.Entry requirements: Candidates must have acquired both CPCABs Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2) and CPCABs Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3) or their RPL (recognised prior learning) equivalent.Learners will also have a commitment to undertaking therapy within the course including aminimum of 60 hours face to face personal therapy during the life of the course (to accommodate a range of theoretical approaches).Learners must also secure a minimum of 100 hours formally-contracted counselling (one-to-one) with at least 5 different clients in an agency setting throughout the course. This is acceptable as either group or one-to-one and the supervisor needs to be registered either with the BACP or UKCP. Cancellations and non-attends do not count towards this total. Candidates will require clinical supervision for their agency client work.Course approval interview required? Yes - learners will need to be referred by their SCOLA tutor or arrange for a 1:1 interview with Curriculum Manager.
