In Economics we identify, analyse and evaluate the economic events that unfold before us each and every day. From the household and firm level – what we call the Microeconomy - to UK Government and global levels – what we call the Macroeconomy. We try to explain economic phenomena using economic models and theories – scientific method. We do not merely describe what we see, but try to understand it and predict what might happen next.
