Through fossils, scientists have been able to piece together how the world has changed in the past, and what the animals that lived in the past looked like, what they ate, and how they interacted and behaved. This course is an introduction to paleontology which focuses on a different aspect of fossils and fossil communities each week. A notepad and pen may be useful if you wish to take notes. There are other courses you might be interested such as Earth Processes and Geohazards. Browse our website or course guide for more information.
