GET TO KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE

UPDATED 20150915 10:52:03

Have you got a sewing machine sitting in the cupboard but you don't know where to start or have you just started a new hobby of sewing and would like to know more about your machine? Why not come along to this one day course so that you can explore your machine to expand your skills. You will need to bring your own sewing machine (which will have to have a PAT - Portable Appliance Test on the day to ensure safety, the cost of this is incorporated into the course fee). You will need a sewing kit: large scissors, small scissors, thread, pins. We will make a small tote bag on the day, so you will need a 60 cm piece of cotton fabric (not heavyweight fabric), and 60 cm piece for cotton lining for the bag. A pattern will be provided. Join the Dressmaking for the Confident course to develop your new skills and put them into practice. Look on the website or in the latest prospectus for other creative courses.
