This exciting programme will involve students gaining new skills such as criminal profiling, effetive searches of persons and vehicles for evidence, and working closely with the local police service on a range of tasks and activities. The HNC is a one-year Higher Eduction programme, which attracts HE Student Finance Loans for those wanting to pay via this method. The HNC counts towards the first year of the HND programme in the same subject area. The programme is aimed at anyone interested in Criminology and Investigation, and anyone interested in successfully achieving employment within a police service, although the skills gained on the programme would be useful for a range of roles particularly in the public sector.
