The course forms part of the Level 2 programme. Within the qualification you will study 12 units including: - Fitness; Sports Performance; Anatomy and Physiology; Leading Sport; Fitness Training; Sports Injuries; Sports Psychology; The Sports Performer; Sports Promotion and Sponsorship; Lifestyle and Well - Being; Running a Sports Event; Profiling Sports Performance. You will also have the option to study the Community Sports Leadership Award (CSLA) and have the opportunity to join a Sports Academy course. Where appropriate, you will also be able to study additional GCSEs. We will expect you to show a commitment to developing your knowledge associated with practical performance in sport. Where appropriate, you may be required to study additional GCSEs such as English Language and Maths.
