The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport is the follow on qualification from the BTEC Certificate in Sport. This is a work related qualification suitable for a wide range of students and is built to accommodate the needs of sport employers and allow progression to university. It provides a practical, real - world approach to learning alongside a key theoretical background. It can be taken alongside, GCSEs, A Levels, the Community Sports Leadership Award, the Higher Sports Leadership Certificate and Sport Academy programmes at Sussex Downs College. On this course you will study subjects including sports coaching, planning and running a sports event and fitness and training in sport. As part of the course there will be numerous opportunities to take part in trips and visits throughout the year.
