On this course you will study two compulsory modules; Section A - Ethics - How do we make ethical decisions?; Section B - Philosophy of the Mind - Are the mind and body separate? Epistemology looks at Kantian and Utilitarian ethical theories as well as the status of ethical language. Philosophy of Religion looks at the relationship between the mental and the physical? The 'philosophical zombies' argument for property dualism. The course will develop your critical and intellectual skills as well as give you a knowledge and understanding of major philosophical issues.
