On this course you will study three areas. The first area is solo recital. Although only one solo recital is required for the exam at ESAM you will perform four recitals during the year which gives you more experience and the opportunity to produce your best performance. The second area of study is understanding music. You will study a range of set works that are certain to expand your musical horizons. Classroom listening and learning and written work is enhanced by trips to hear professional performances. The third area of study is composition. AS students have their compositions performed and recorded by a professional ensemble.
