This contemporary dance course will help you build your practical skills in both dance technique and choreography. The course also explores anatomy and physiology and dance analysis which will provide you with a solid understanding of the theory and practise of contemporary dance. For students interested in a career in dance this course works as an excellent companion to the BTEC National Award in Dance. You must demonstrate a real ability and interest in contemporary dance. The course will require to take part in physically active practical sessions and solo dance performances.
