This course is designed to teach you how the creative industry works and allow you to develop skills in key areas of media production. The course covers digital video editing and the use of cameras motion graphics sound recording and digital photography using industry standard software suites. You will create your productions in our fully equipped media suite with access to our green screen sound booths and radio studios. During the course you will work to professional brief producing music videos television commercials documentary film and single camera drama productions and be taught by tutors with direct industry knowledge and experience. The course will also introduce you to script writing for both film and radio and also includes units which cover graphic design for print. Critical analysis units are also included to improve your overall understanding of how film and media productions are structured and tailored to different audiences and prove invaluable to students moving into both work and higher education.
