Mandarin Post Beginner

This is a course for you if you have already studied the language for at least 30 hours or you have a little knowledge of Mandarin, and follows on from the initial beginners course. This is an Entry 3 course. The aim is to introduce you to the basic linguistic skills and the background knowledge necessary for you to communicate simply but effectively in the country or in contact with visitors to this country. You will learn how to . Ask about places and follow directions to them Ask about times Introduce yourself and others Make travel arrangements Fill in forms Recognize and act upon signs and written instructions Obtain accommodation in hotel and guest house Obtain something to eat and drink Obtain goods in a shop Students successfully completing assessments will receive an Entry 3 Award from the Awarding Body Consortium.
