Biology is the fastest developing science at the present time with numerous applications including entry into Health Service careers. The core principles of Biology are studied in the first unit including cells enzymes disease and immunity digestion circulation and respiration. In the second unit the topics include genes and variation cell division and DNA biodiversity and classification exchange and transport in plants and animals. There will be coursework assessment based on ISA system used at GCSE.
