The aim of this course is to explore the many aspects of photographic practice to find your own personal approach to photography. You will explore the photography as a medium for communication and personal expression. During this course you will build and extend your existing photography skills,and hone these to build a portfolio of highly - focused images. This portfolio will be used to facilitate progression onto a degree - level course or into the Creative Industries. You will learn studio lighting techniques,darkroom skills,digital printing,using medium format 35mm SLR cameras,film cameras,large format cameras plus digital practices such as Photoshop to produce digital prints. A programme of historical and contemporary contextual studies supports your practical studies.
