This course is the introductory level of the Filmmaking courses at City College. It is designed to provide a thorough grounding in Filmmaking in order to allow students to progress on to the Filmmaking UAL Subsidiary Diploma Creative Media Level 3 course. You will be introduced to digital video cameras and editing software and have the opportunity to gain experience of using them. Through realistic,industry related projects you will learn how to create a range of digital film,video and animation from first ideas through to finished product. Through a mixture of practical lessons and vocational projects you will have the opportunity to develop your creative filmmaking skills. You will also be encouraged to increase your academic skills in order to access a full range of progression opportunities.
