Applicants from a registered charitable organisation who are teaching/training in a voluntary capacity will also be considered on an individual basis. If you already have a degree you will study for the PGCE (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education). If you do not have a degree you will study for the DET (Diploma in Education and Training). In year 1 everyone studies on the Diploma in Education programme. In year 2 those who already have a degree select the PGCE pathway for their end of programme classification. Those without a degree have an end of year 2 classification of Diploma in Education. The programme offered through the Canterbury Christchurch University is a taught (attending) programme with weekly classes and is suitable for those who would prefer to study alongside other trainees in a more traditional classroom setting. If you would you like to train whilst continuing to work in your existing job, our PGCE and DET internships might be right for you. The internship programme placements will be completed at Bromley College alongside qualified teachers. - See more at: http://www.bromley.ac.uk/courses/pgcepce-diploma-in-teaching-in-the-lifelong-learning-sector-dtlls-canterbury-christ-church-university-programme/#sthash.bO59Em9R.dpuf
