This course is ideal for employed education settings including SEN provision and behavior units Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and anyone supporting students with learning difficulties (AEN/SEN) in an education setting. or voluntary There are 2 pathways for this programme: Pathway 1: For those employed or volunteering in the primary sector (Reception to Year 6 including SEN provision and behaviour units) Pathway 2: For those employed or volunteering in the secondary and FE sectors (Year 7 to adult, including SEN provision and behaviour units) Applicants who have already completed a voluntary placement on a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare course are also welcome to apply and consideration on an individual basis will be given to applicants who have supported learners in other settings. Please note that childminding, mother and toddler groups, Brownies etc. are not applicable.
