This is a 5day programme certified by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and is for supervisors team leaders and managers who need to ensure compliance with both their organisation's policy and best practice in health and safety.The course has 8 core modules designed to meet individual organisation requirements and includes: Introducing Managing Safely Assessing Risks Controlling Risks Understanding Your Responsibilities Identifying Hazards Investigating Accidents and Incidents Measuring Performance Protecting Our EnvironmentPrevious knowledge of health and safety is recommended prior to enrolling on this course. You will be required to complete a project on the last day of the course which takes the form of an inspection of the workplace and a risk assessment. There will also be a multiplechoice examination.
