This course is designed to give you the qualification required to enable you to apply for a Personal Licence. The course provides the qualification that is a requirement of the licencing regulations.The course will cover the legislative requirements for becoming a Personal Licence holder. As part of the course you will cover the following topics: licences the licences objectives licensable activities applying for a licence young persons the nature of alcohol and how it affects the body and the social responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol.There are no formal entry requirements however there are certain offences which prevent a personal licence being granted. The course is delivered through lectures discussion and guided reading. You will be assessed by a 40 question multiple choice exam.After successful completion of this course it is possible to progress to further hospitality and catering courses.
