The course develops skills in both spoken and written forms, with a syllabus centred on speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. As well as studying a literary text students will improve all aspects of their written work from spelling and punctuation, to creative and every day composition. Classroom based study is brought alive through discussion, debate and presentations. Assessments will be through a combination of Controlled Assessments, oral and written, and by one final written examination paper.
