Creative & Digital Media Intermediate Apprenticeship

This course is for those aged 16 years and over who have a keen interest in pursuing a career in a media role such as a Production Assistant / Runner, Post-production Assistant, Broadcast Assistant, animation, Researcher, Design Assistants or Camera Crew Assistant. This apprenticeship gives you the chance to learn practical skills 'on the job', and gain qualifications and work experience whilst earning a wage in the media sector. You will cover essential areas like health and safety, teamwork and communication skills.

This means that it is linked to your ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with your work whilst being able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding. Your assessor will watch you working and assess what you do against the NVQ standards. Evidence for the various qualifications could also come from a witness, or a log or diary of your work and set written tasks. You may also have done things previously which count towards your NVQ.
