These courses are designed for IT enthusiasts who wish to develop their IT skills in computer maintenance. The Level 1 will suit you if you are just starting out and want to learn how to carry out basic systems maintenance working with hardware and software. Level 2 will be at an intermediate level providing you with essential skills in setting up your own computer systems or supporting you in employment or providing you with the skills and knowledge to freelance. You can progress to higher levels if you wish. This qualification can open doors into the IT technician industry or open the door for self-employment. The units at Level 1 and Level2 are the same but at level 2 the content is covered in greater depth and at a more advanced level.
