This course is designed for students who have a strong interest in a career in Music in developing their skills business and product to a point where they can compete in the Music Industry The course is based around the development and evaluation of your brand. This is your product and is likely to be something you produce as in you as an artist songwriter or producer thought the course is as applicable to those wanting to develop a business such as a music studio or record label. It is expected that you have an idea of what it is you intend to do in the music industry before you start the course. Learners studying for in Level 4 Creative Practitioner in Music will be expected to develop the following skills during the programme of study the ability to synthesise a range of concepts knowledge and skills relating to practical media production the ability to apply complex theories to practical realistic work situations in the media self-motivation and the ability to study both independently and in production teams good business sense and the ability to project manage the ability to generate appropriate evidence to agreed deadlines the ability to engage with complex and unpredictable situations in media contexts the ability to take responsibility to manage and direct their own and others' activities research and investigative skills responsiveness to change and the ability to multi-task the ability to innovate and work in a creative way.
