Lessons are held in a relaxed informal atmosphere. Students learn to cope in a variety of everyday situations commonly encountered on visits to Turkey. A variety of teaching methods will be used including class work, group work, team work, pair work, role play, games, DVD's, videos and audio cassettes. Some homework will be set each week. You will be able to cope with a variety of everyday situations, such as asking the way, shopping for food, talking about yourself - all of which will be useful when you travel to Turkey. You will also learn something about the life and culture of Turkey. This course will allow you to develop your knowledge of the Turkish language and will include more learning on grammar. A College Certificate will be awarded on request.You will learn by participation, either by interaction between teacher and student or through group work, pair work or role play, games etc. The four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing will be covered, but with the emphasis on speaking and listening.The knowledge of the language gained may assist students with their careers or travel plans.
