Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration - Day Release

The Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration is primarily for those with some prior experience in a business or administration role, although this is not a formal entry requirement. The following pathway options are offered: -business administration -legal administration The business administration pathway includes the following core units: communicating in a business environment, managing personal and professional development, the principles of business communication and information, principles of administration and the principles of business. The legal administration pathway includes the following core units: communication in a business environment, managing personal performance and development, legal text and audio processing, proofreading in the legal environment and business skills in the legal environment. Both pathways offer a wide choice of unit options to select from. You will achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 Diploma qualification. Unless exempt on entry, you will also achieve Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in English, maths and ICT.You will learn through a combination of on- and off-the-job training. You will attend college one day per week during term time and spend the rest of your time earning and learning in the workplace. The Apprenticeship has a minimum duration of 18 months unless you are aged 19 or older and have undertaken relevant prior learning. Your progress will be continuously monitored and supported by an Apprenticeship Achievement Officer. Advanced apprentices, with support and opportunities in the workplace, can progress onto the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Business and Professional Administration.
