By attending this course you will learn enough Italian to be able to communicate in the following situations: - Eating in a restaurant - Choosing presents/goods in a shop - Travelling by public transport - Making a hotel booking and enquiries about facilities - Asking if something can be done - Talking about yourself and your life - Learning the language structure: e.g. past tense The emphasis is on practical, useful language to give students confidence in everyday situations in Italy. You will be able to communicate in simple Italian when in situations such as travelling by public transport, ordering a meal in a restaurant, booking a hotel with specific requirements and buying clothes, etc. You will also increase your knowledge of Italian life and culture. A College Certificate will be awarded on request.Learning will be through listening, watching videos and clips, repeating, practising - pair work, group work, games and surveys, etc. The course will include some writing, particularly for homework.Italian Year 3.
