Flowers for Easter

This short course will involve demonstrations of various floral and natural designs which would make beautiful seasonal gifts and/or decorations for family, friends, the home, work and public places. Learners will observe design ideas demonstrated, which then may be practiced in the class sessions. Learners will gain more confidence in working on the construction of both traditional and contemporary work. There is no qualification, this is a non-vocational course. However, a College Certificate may be issued upon request.Both traditional and contemporary styles will be covered in the course. Fresh, artificial and dried materials may be used. You will learn through practice, demonstrations, discussions, observation.Students can progress to other Eastleigh College floristry courses such as:- Level 2 Certificate in Floristry City & Guilds course Advanced Contemporary Floral Design and Floristry Joining a flower club/contemporary floral design group, e.g. NAFAS
