You will be expected to gain 46 credits to complete this award, 24 credits from the mandatory units. These include Communication, Health and Safety and Personal Development. There are also 22 credits to be achieved form the optional units. These will be chosen with your Assessor. It is important the chosen units are within your role as a Support Worker. Once you have enrolled onto the programme you will be assigned an assessor that will visit you in the workplace regularly. They will complete assessment plans and reviews with you to keep you on target. They will support you in the collection of the required evidence needed for your qualification through different assessment methods such as; professional discussion, observations, written questions, verbal questions, witness statements and any assignments.Once completed you could move onto the level 3 Health and Social care course as long as your job role meets the standards of the qualification.
