It involves division of the ledger, processing accounting information into the correct ledger using batch control sheets, producing accounting reports in respect to the activity in sales & customer ledger, double entry system and how to apply it. Students will gain a City & Guilds 8989 Level 1 Certificate at the end of the course. There is a 1 hour exam taken at the end which is externally assessed. All students will be expected to take the end of unit exam. A level 1 qualification.The course involves practical work supported by tutor led theory sessions and guidance for skills development.C&G 8989 Computerised Book Keeping & Accounting Level 2 Using SAGE.
