If you are interested in becoming a travel representative or working in the travel industry within the UK or worldwide, then this course is for you. This course will teach you how the industry is made up, who the big players are and how it is funded. Effective customer service is vital to this industry and you will develop skills in marketing products and services to customers which will enable you to apply for a range of jobs within the industry. You will study a range of topics which may include- UK travel and tourism destinations - European holiday destinations - Planning visits and trips - Interpersonal skills for holiday reps - Airports and airlines - Customer service and marketing in travel and tourism - In addition, you will learn skills that are required in any career choice, including health and safety, confidence building, social and practical skills, and English and Maths. We also offer English and Maths resits.
