This course is for you if you want a career working within the health and social care sector. This will suit you if you have a passion and desire to make a difference to the lives of individuals and provide you with the practical skills and knowledge required for a wide range of careers in health, care and early years. You will explore the variety of jobs that are available in the health, social care or early years' sector and look at what it means to be at work in these sectors. You will also be introduced to the practical skills you will need for care work and will explore the needs of children, finding out how to care for their health and well being and contribute to their development. You will be introduced to the way society views and treats different groups of people and will consider how the environment can affect the health of an individual and the community.
