This is a good course for you if you want to gain an in - depth knowledge of equine management. This course will also suit you if you have worked in the equine industry for a number of years and wish to gain a recognised qualification. A typical working week will comprise of a variety of classroom sessions and a number of practical classes where advanced horse management skills can be developed. There will also be time to meet with your tutor and work on improving your Maths and English. You will study a wide range of subjects including equine science, improving your riding, and the ability to assess a horse, horse nutrition, health and husbandry and the theory of equitation. In addition, you will learn skills that are required in any career choice, including health & safety, confidence building, social and practical skills, and English and Maths.
