This qualification is aimed at learners who are involved in research and development in the field of engineering, or those who wish to develop these skills. It covers research and development, design, new product processes, monitoring and evaluating new product processes.

Name: Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Research and Development) Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship Qualification title: Generic code to identify ILR programme aims Qualification type: Assessment Assessment will be from within the College for Level 2 units via qualified assessors who are registered with the awarding body, and the work of these will be verified by a registered verifier. Work undertaken in the workplace will be assessed in the work place and a verifier will monitor and interview the assessors and student in the work place. An external verifier will monitor the verifiers decisions at least twice per year and may wish to interview any candidate.
