For example, students may choose oral exam topics on a German film, a book or a region. There is also a significant emphasis on the study of German grammar. Germany has a vital role in Europe and the World. This course builds your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to a high level along with study of modern Germany and connected topics. German is used whenever possible in class, and you may be able to have regular conversational practice with a native German speaker. An exchange visit is also possible.
