This course will be of particular interest to those wishing to concentrate their future on more hands-on practical activities and at the end of this course you will have demonstrated your competence in the Engineering workplace by building up a portfolio of evidence.Level 2 is ideal if you have some knowledge and basic skills in Production or Maintenance Engineering probably from a role where you work under supervision and would like to increase your skills or even perhaps progress to more advanced qualifications.To undertake this course you must complete a range of mandatory and optional units some of which are pathway-specific.The units will include:-Working Safely in an Engineering EnvironmentWorking Efficiently and Effectively in EngineeringUsing and Communicating Technical InformationProducing Components Using Hand Fitting TechniquesPreparing and Using Lathes for Turning OperationsPreparing and using Milling Machines
