The Level 1 course consists of 5 BTEC units covering an introduction to working in the sports, fitness & exercise industries from a practical & basic theory perspective to prepare learners with the knowledge & skills required for progressing onto higher level courses & jobs such as leisure attendant, sports coaching & fitness instructing. EQUIPMENT On enrolment, all new learners to the college sports department will be supplied with a FREE sports kit package consisting of a tracksuit, polo shirt, T-shirt & shorts for use during all practical activity sessions. Additional kit is also available to purchase.
