Explain to a high degree how camera settings affect results and to be able to select controls with appropriate speed for the photographic task. Illustrate a variety of themes through a series of photographs which show evidence of the use of the camera, film/digital media and context. Control natural/artificial light more effectivly to produce more interesting and natural looking images. Recognise and produce images with high level of compositional skills. Assess photographs in relation to technical and creative results and suggest improvements. In this course you will further develop your photographic techniques including the use of lenses, composition, lighting - photoflood/tungsten and flash to produce interesting still-live's, close-up /macro photography and high quality portraits. The compellation of your images into a portfolio. Students will critically examine photographic issues and trends.
