English Language A level offers you the opportunity to delve deeper into how language is used in spoken and written contexts in a range of different ways. We study a range of topics from how children acquire language to how language varies depending on age, gender, occupation, time period, audience, purpose... the list goes on! English Language will also enable you to practise your writing skills in a range of styles and prepares you well for a broad range of degrees and career opportunities.
