Are you currently working in an associate teacher role without a recognised qualification? Or do you work in a limited role teaching short courses or recreational evening classes using pre-planned materials? Would you like to boost your teaching career and develop a range of new skills? Then this is the course for you! Our Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) is a well-respected qualification, and offers an engaging and rewarding pathway towards the Associate Teaching Licence (ATLS). What will I be doing? You will begin the course by taking the PTLLS course in October, January or April. After successfully completing this course, you will go on to complete the CTLLS course and study a number of further modules. The CTLLS will officially qualify you as an Associate Teacher and will enable you to work from a pre-designed curriculum to teach a particular subject or learner type. For more information about the role of an Associate Teacher, please visit the Institute for Learning website.
