Suitable for beginners and keen amateurs, this course will cover topics including; soil improvement, plant selection, growing fruit and vegetables, pest and disease control and the maintenance of healthy plants. Also included will be a visit to a garden centre. You will learn how improving soils helps plants, how good plant selection leads to successful gardening, how to grow fruit and vegetables and also control garden pests, diseases and disorders.
