The course consists of three units: 1 - Explore photographic, techniques, materials and resources; 2 - Develop and adapt ideas creatively in photography and 3 - Produce and evaluate photographic Images. You should have your own digital SLR camera which you will learn how to use effectively along with various photographic techniques including studio lighting. You will research the work of other photographers and learn to describe the visual language of images. Selecting an area of photography such as landscape, portrait, still life, architecture, social documentary, close up, wildlife or digital manipulation will enable you to produce a portfolio of images.
