This course follows the syllabus of the AIM Awards Level 2 Certificate in Interior Design Skills. You will need to complete 6 mandatory units to achieve the qualification. Topics covered include colour theory, design inspiration, drawing plans, space planning and soft furnishings. Assessment is by portfolio submission on completion of the course. You will need to attend an interview prior to enrolment. Please ring the College 020 8460 0020 to arrange this. In order to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Interior Design Skills, you must complete 6 mandatory units: Colour Theory for Interior Design; Design Inspiration The Role of the Interior Designer; Interior Design Drawing Plans and Elevations; Interior Design in Context; Interior Design Space Planning; Soft Furnishings for Interior Design. Activities will include practical tasks, projects, group discussions, practice files, diaries and/or reports and academic essays. No as this is an intensive qualification course.
