Preview, visit and review current West End, RSC, National Theatre and local productions with other theatre enthusiasts who enjoy appreciation and discussion of all aspects of both classical and contemporary drama in a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. Monthly visits to the theatre will take advantage of group discounts when available and may be held on different days to facilitate group bookings for plays. There is an additional cost for theatre tickets. In class, read and discuss extracts from chosen plays, understand historical and artistic context, review plays after visit, explore the wider issues raised.
