Students follow AQA Syllabus B. There are 2 Units in AS (with 2 exams) and 3 Units in A2 (with 2 exams). These are: AS Unit 1: A Core Physical (Rivers) and a Optional Physical Topic (Coastal Environment) Unit 2: A Core Human (Population) and a Optional Human Topic (Energy Issues) (These four units make up the Unit 1 exam) Students will be taught geographical skills during the course and whilst undertaking fieldwork. These skills will then be examined in the Unit 2 exam.
