This course is for anyone working where food is prepared, cooked or handled. You will cover fundamental food hygiene knowledge for all food handlers. The course provides a recognised standard which meets National standards and complies with the law that all food-handlers are trained in food hygiene matters. By gaining the CIEH Food Safety Award will show that you have adequately studied and understand the principles of food hygiene & safety. A food business that has high standards of food safety will be complying with the law.
