EFL BEC HIGHER (BUSINESS ENGLISH CERT)

UPDATED 20150826 15:26:46

Sessions provide extensive practice of the core skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar to an advanced level in a business context. A range of business topics, covered by the specialist course book, offer the opportunity to discuss current business issues and help the learner build relevant vocabulary. There is an emphasis on essential communication skills - telephone, email, report and proposal writing, and general business correspondence - and all are practised thoroughly. Learners develop essential exam skills and towards the end of the course exam practice is provided so that candidates, entering this University of Cambridge ESOL examination in June, can feel fully prepared. Most learners have existing business experience and are encouraged to share their business expertise from a language perspective with their course colleagues.
