Drawing Landscapes

UPDATED 20160229 17:51:58

The course is based around drawing the South Downs. We will be describing the hills through tone, marks and texture using a variety of materials such as charcoal, pencil, graphite and possibly ink. In the 5 weeks we shall discuss focal points, balance and perspective within a landscape. Weather permitting we shall meet outside on the beach in Rottingdean to draw the beautiful cliffs and visit Southease which is positioned in between the Downs and Shoreham. Outdoor visits will be discussed with everyone before we start.
