Printmaking&Mixed Media

Learn to create exciting work using a variety of mediums on paper and fabric. Combine simple but interesting printing techniques like mono printing, block printing and stencil printing using your own designs.With patterns, colour and texture discover ways to create layers and depth in your work. This is a great opportunity to have fun and experiment with a range of materials including gesso, acrylics, inks, water soluble crayons and pastels in unconventional ways, we will try out image transfers and discover how to combine various materials together cohesively into your artwork like found objects and printed images. In addition the tutor will share a few simple creative effects which will demonstrate how to transform your mixed media experiments into interesting art pieces.
