Ancient Greek Language Taster

This workshop will introduce participants to the language and culture of the Ancient Greeks. Starting with the Greek alphabet, learners will begin to read and write words before moving onto translating short sentences and then short stories. The day will also include discussion of 'what the Greeks did for us', with the opportunity for learners to enhance their understanding of democracy, philosophy and Greek literature.
